Raghupathi Jaatara(రఘుపతి గుట్ట జాతర)

About The Jaatara
          Raghupati Gutta (రఘుపతి గుట్ట) is very famous for the Jaatara(జాతర) celebrated every year on the day of Sri Rama Navami in and around D.Dharmaram village.
 
 
        
  On the top of the big rock on the gutta, there is a small place on corner where we could find small holes which people calls as once upon a time, sita came there and played Kachha Kayalu on that  holy big rock. Even just below this big rock we could find, Vishnu Chakra. There is a small gap between two rocks on this gutta, people on the Jaatara day, went through this path way with the belief that all their problems will go away in that coming year.
Two Day Events
           The idols of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Anjaneya will be brought on Shava to this gutta and Sri Rama Kalyanam will be celebrated. On the next day the main even, jaatara is celebrated. The Sri Rama Kalyanam will be celebrated on the eve of Sri Rama Navami. 
            On this next day, from the village lots of carts will be decorated and moved as a big procession to this gutta. In the evening of the second day, the carts will round about the small gutta in front of the Raghupati gutta. 
 
History of Raghupathi Gutta
             In the early 1980's, the villagers of Dharmaram village, more importantly with the initiation from Sri.Ramulu pantulu and Sri Dinesh from sugar factory of Dharmaram, the Raghupathi Gutta of  Dharmaram got renovated and made available for the villagers. From that time every year during Sri Rama navami, a two day Jaatara and Sri Rama Kalyanam will be getting celebrated by the villagers of Dharmaram at Raghupathi Gutta every year. At Raghupathi Gutta, so many people of Dharmaram contributed to the development including the Ex. Sarpanch Sri Vuduta Siddaiah and others.
Importance
There is a small gap between two rocks on this gutta, people on the Jaatara day, went through this path way with the belief that all their problems will go away in that coming year.
 
When it is celebrated?
The Event is celebrated every yeay on the day of Sri Rama Navami and the jaatara follows on the next day.
How to reach Gutta?
It is about 1.5 Kms from the  Dharmaram village.
 
How to reach D.Dharmaram village? 
D.Dharmaram village is in the Ramayampet mandal, Medak district,  Telangana state, India. To reach dharmaram village the nearest big city is Hyderabad in India. From Hyderabad, this village will be around 80 KMs(  Know More).
